Ansar & VDP

he country's largest disciplined army among the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces (VDP) volunteer organizations In 1948, the Ansar Battalion on 12 February and the village defense team was established on 5 January in 1976. The main goal of this force is to provide help to police and other forces to protect law and order. Make self-reliant through various training. Perform various important responsibilities under government directive. Their basic foundation is peace, discipline and security everywhere we are.

 

Ansar and VDP's responsibilities

*** Helping law enforcement agencies to protect country's law and order.

*** Helping the defense forces to protect the country's independence.

*** Helping the common man during natural disaster.

*** Help in national development and socio-economic work in government directives.

*** Assist the country's civil administration.

*** Support police forces to protect law and order. For example: National and local elections, selection and recruitment of Ansar and VDP qualified for Durgapujya.
*** Send trainees to the departmental training course to provide different job-based training according to the eligibility of plutonous members / members in the socio-economic development.
*** For the selection and training of trainees qualified for various professional-based training including sewing, air conditioner, refrigerator, electrician, basic computer, motor driving repair, mobile phone set repair, welding sweater knitting, poultry training and fishery cultivation, divisional training center sent to the center Performing.

*** Support the upazila administration in different developmental activities of the upazila.
